For those of you who may be a bit confused about the difference between Persians and Himalayans, let me take
a minute to explain. Himalayans were bred from Persians and Siamese to create the "Pointed" look of
the Siamese and the long coats of the Persian. The difference when you look at them is that Himalayans have,
what are called, "color points." This means that the main coloring is on the nose, ears, tail and feet. For instance,
a Seal Point will have a cream body with dark brown ears, tail, nose and feet. Whereas Persians have color all over
their bodies, such as Calico or Solid White. Also, Himalayans always have Blue eyes. Persians mainly have Copper
eyes with some exceptions (Whites can be Blue, Odd or Copper Eyed,) and Goldens and Silvers have Green eyes.
Both Persians and Himalayans can be Doll Faced or Extreme Faced.
